Frequently asked questions
How do I set up the Naturally Organic Hudson Latex Mattress for first use?
Unbox and place on a compatible bed frame or foundation. Let the mattress settle for a short period before use to help it regain shape, and ensure the surface is clean and dry for a stable sleeping base.
Who is this mattress a good fit for, and who might prefer something else?
This mattress suits sleepers who want a firm core with a pressure-relieving top layer, plus a healthy, dust-m mite resistant option. If you prefer a very plush feel or need a different firmness level, consider how the core and top layer balance comfort and support.
What makes the Hudson Latex unit different from typical latex mattresses?
It uses a firm Dunlop latex core with a pressure-relieving top layer, wrapped in GOTS-certified organic cotton and organic wool for natural flame retardancy and temperature regulation, plus individually wrapped layers to minimize shifting.
What features should I pay attention to for daily comfort and health benefits?
The latex material provides inherent dust-mite resistance and anti-bacterial properties, while the organic wool and cotton deliver temperature regulation and a natural, quiet sleep surface.
What room setup or bed frame works best with this mattress?
Pair it with a compatible foundation or bed frame designed to support an eight-inch mattress, ensuring even support across the surface for consistent comfort.
How does the depth and composition affect durability and long-term use?
The eight-inch thickness with a layered latex design emphasizes durability and stable support night after night, while the individually wrapped layers help prevent shifting and maintain structure over time.
